Directify is a software company that helps e-commerce businesses in the logistics to process orders.

Protium.digital (founded in 2014) in Rotterdam) is the mothership of Directify, which we started in 2018.

Directify simplifies the whole process; from the moment the order is placed until the delivery at the doorstep. Directify helps to accomplish all the steps in between in a more efficient and sustainable way.

Directify offers a platform which allows companies to have one simple dashboard where ALL products and orders from multiple sales channels are synchronized and from where you can simply handle all further steps.

Who are you?

You are a talented software developer with tangible experience working on medium to large software projects. We are looking for someone who can help us build custom features for clients, as well as work on new product features and maintain existing software. This requires an innovative mindset to bring our product to a whole new level.

Being part of a small dev team you will be working together closely on multiple facets of the product most of the time. This also means you need to be able to work independently, without continuous instruction and have a proactive mindset.

You are a good communicator and have an intrinsic drive to learn. You have obtained an HBO or WO (university) degree, preferably in an area of IT. You want to work in a start-up company and are super interested in the world of e-commerce and logistics!

What will you do?

  • maintaining existing software

  • analyzing customer needs and coming up with fitting solutions in an agile manner

  • working on long-term development

  • Fluent in English (Dutch is a pre)

  • Relevant experience working on medium to large software projects

  • Knowledge of codebase that is NodeJS-based

  • Knowledge of Express-based back-end

  • Knowledge of Git

  • Experience in Typescript, HTML and CSS

  • Knowledge of framework such as Vue and React

  • (Basic) knowledge of Figma

  • Good with planning (scrum) and estimating workload

  • Good communicator

  • An independent developer

  • Detail and precision oriented

  • A team player who isn’t afraid to share ideas and solutions with colleagues
